Within The Ring 2 they created a viral campaign. A viral campaign is spreading the information to one another rather than adverts and billboards. The reason in which i believe that they used this rather than an conventional advert or billboard is due to the target audience being of a young age such as 15 plus and that is usually when they discuss topics such as films. They build up of this technology used film would scare people within the word of mouth.
